Dear Parents,
Wow...it is December! November was a very exciting month of learning and discovering and we are looking forward to all the magic and wonder that December will bring...Christmas is on its way!
Advent is a time of waiting and anticipation. It is also a time of joy and of sharing as we prepare our hearts to celebrate Jesus’ birthday. During these weeks, the 3 kindergarten classes will get together to pray and light the candles on our Advent wreath. Thank you to all families who have sent in their ‘stone’. We will be praying for all your special intentions.
On December 14th, parents are invited to join us in our classrooms for ‘Gingerbread’ making. A note with more information went home. Please note; we are making mini-Gingerbread houses.
Important Dates:
December 5th – Advent mass at St. John the Apostle Church at 7:00pm
December 14th – Gingerbread House making (1:45pm in the Kindergarten classes)
With the colder weather here, the children are coming to school with more clothing. Please make sure all pieces of clothing are labelled. Also, neck warmers, rather than scarves are an easier and safer piece of clothing to use to keep our necks warm.
We hope you have been enjoying our class tweets! The children are very excited to share with you what they have been doing at school.
Wishing You a Blessed Advent and a Joyful Christmas!
Sincerely,
The Kindergarten Team
